Knicks' Recent Periods Success

The New York Knicks have had periods of success throughout their history, but their most recent period of sustained success was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. During this time, the team reached the NBA Finals twice (in 1999 and 2000) and made it to the playoffs several other times. Since then, the Knicks have struggled to consistently make the playoffs and have not advanced past the first round since 2013. However, the team has shown signs of improvement in recent years under new management and coaching, and fans are hopeful for a return to sustained success in the future

The last time the New York Knicks had a winning season and made it to the NBA playoffs was during the 2012-2013 season. During that season, the Knicks finished with a record of 54 wins and 28 losses and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in six games. Since then, the Knicks have struggled and failed to make the playoffs in the following seasons. However, they have recently shown improvement and made it to the playoffs during the 2020-2021 season

The New York Knicks had a strong period of success in the 1990s when they reached the NBA Finals twice (1994 and 1999) and made it to the Eastern Conference Finals five times (1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, and 1999). They also had a successful run in the early 2010s, making the playoffs three times (2011, 2012, and 2013) and winning a playoff series in 2013. However, in recent years, the team has struggled to find success and make the playoffs. As of my knowledge cutoff in 2021, the Knicks had not made the playoffs since the 2012-2013 season
